Benefits of the Potomac Emergency Mask The Potomac emergency gas mask has two large filters allowing for improved air volumn during escape when breathing tends to be heavy. The mask comes sealed in a foil bag for protection from contamination before use. This gas mask does not impair vision or fog up or reduce hearing and there are no caps or canisters to replace which often lead to dangerous leaks. Your Potomac mask will fit most adults. You can determine if the POTOMAC will fit by measuring from the top of your nose near your eyes down to mid chin. That measurement should be 3.1 inches. Also measure from the outside of one eye to the outside of the other eye. This measurement should be at least 2.5 inches.
