"Question: Your review doesn't tell how often these filters should be replaced. I have one and I live alone ... when should I replace my filter?

Answer from DisasterStuff Staff: Each Black Berkey filters 3,000 gallons under city water conditions. That is 6,000 gallons per set or 16.5 gallons per day for a year. Most households can go two or three years. "
