The White Berkey Super Sterwater filter uses a custom food grade washer to seal the lower chamber and upper chamber when installing the white ceramic filters. This washer is only for Super Sterasyl water filter elements and is used with the Berkey Super Sterasyl filter wing nut. If you have the Black Berkey water filters you will need the MCSSWASHER. Price includes shipping on this item.

Detailed Information

Each white Berkey Super Sterasyl water filter element requres a custom washer to attach the filter to the system. In addition, each filter washer requires a wing nut made for that filter. These nuts and washers are not interchangeable with the Black Berkey water filter wing nut and washer.
