Potassium Iodide protects the thyroid gland from absorption of radioactive iodine by saturating the thyroid glands with stable iodine. The thyroid gland cannot absorb radio active iodine if it is saturated with non-radioactive iodine.
Adults will need 1 tablet per day. We recommend at least 28 days per adult or 28 tablets. Children will need 1/2 tablet per day for 28 days or 14 tablets.
