The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends a N95 particulate respirator as adequate protection against the Avain Bird Flu Virus and Swine Flu Virus. It is highly recommended that you limit contact with people during an outbreak and use a mask and personal protection only when you must go out in public. For children we recommend the ViraMask. It tapes to the face using surgical tape, has a zero leak rating and and is not easily removed.
