The Black Berkey water filter uses a custom food grade washer to seal the lower chamber and upper chamber when installing Black Berkey filters. This washer is only for Black Berkey water filters and is used with the Black Berkey filter wing nut. If you have the white ceramic Super Sterasyl water filters you will need the MCSSWASHER washer. Price includes shipping on this item.

Detailed Information

Each Black Berkey water filter requres a custom washer to attach the filter to the system. In addition, each filter washer requires a wing nut made for that filter. These nuts and washers are not interchangeable with the white Super Sterasyl water filter wing nut and washer.
