Big Berkey and all of the stainless steel Berkey water filter systems have holes in the upper dirty water chamber where the Black Berkey elements are installed. All systems come with two filters and blocking plugs for the rest of the holes, but some people prefer to just install one Black Berkey element. Use these white blocking plugs to fill the extra holes.
